Getting started
GemDiagram is free to try — open the pre-loaded gems, render them in Solid and Realistic mode, trace light with Ray Studio, and run the yield calculator without signing up. To upload your own diagrams, edit and save them, and unlock the design and export tools, create an account and choose a plan.
Click the Account menu (top right) and select Sign Up. You'll need an email and password. After verifying your email, you're logged in and can subscribe to a plan.
The four plans
Your plan controls which features you can use:

Free lets you explore — open the pre-loaded gems, render them in Solid and Realistic mode, use Ray Studio and the yield calculator. Renders are transparent and limited to three materials. No credit card needed.
Starter ($20/month) makes it yours: upload unlimited diagrams, edit and save
.facet files locally, export PDFs, edit color, and use every material.
Studio ($100/month) unlocks the Gem Designer, Rough Planner, Cutting Assistant (no auto-cut), and render screenshots.
Pro ($200/month) adds auto-cut, frosted edges and facets, video recording, Gem Showcase (a raytraced lineup of up to 6 gems at true scale), Client Preview links to show buyers a stone, and PDF Import (beta) to reconstruct a design straight from a GemCAD or Gem Cut Studio cut sheet.
All plans have unlimited designs — no per-file charges. Client Preview links are capped at 500 active at once on Pro. See Gem Showcase and Client Preview for how those Pro tools work, or the Plan & Feature Matrix for the full breakdown.
Upgrading
Click Account → Billing to see your current plan and upgrade. You can switch at any time; the difference is prorated to your card.
Canceling
You can cancel anytime from the Billing page. Your saved .facet files stay
on your device; you can re-subscribe again later without losing work.
